Genesis
Chapter 1:20-31, And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. 21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. 23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.
24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good.
26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth. 27 So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moves upon the earth.
29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to everything that creeps upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. 31 And God saw everything that He had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.
In Chapter 1 [THE SIXTH DAY]
Important: God created the animals first and male and female second. God spoke male and female into existence and told them to, “Be fruitful and multiply, replenish the earth, and subdue it.” He spoke more than just one male and spoke more than just one female into existence.
Chapter 2:1-22, Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. 2 And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had made; and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had made. 3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it He had rested from all His work which God created and made.
4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, 5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground. 6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground. 7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
8 And the Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there He put the man whom He had formed. 9 And out of the ground made the Lord God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. 10 And a river went out of Eden to water the garden; and from thence it was parted, and became into four heads. 11 The name of the first is Pison: that is it which compasses the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold; 12 And the gold of that land is good: there is bdellium and the onyx stone. 13 And the name of the second river is Gihon: the same is it that compasses the whole land of Ethiopia. 14 And the name of the third river is Hiddekel: that is it which goes toward the east of Assyria. And the fourth river is Euphrates. 15 And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it. 16 And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou may freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shall not eat of it: for in the day that thou eats thereof thou shall surely die.
18 And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him. 19 And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. 20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found a help meet for him. 21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; 22 And the rib, which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man.
In Chapter 2 [THE SEVENTH DAY]
God had already created the earth and rested by the end of day seven, and He blessed the seventh day. [Genesis 2:4, ends the seventh day.]
In Chapter 2:5 [STARTS DAY EIGHT]
Now it’s the beginning of day eight and the Lord wants to make a garden for Himself and it says there was no man to till the ground [for His garden]. The other men and women were out doing what they were told by God: replenishing and subduing the earth. The garden in Eden was to be God’s special place here on Earth and God made Adam the caretaker of the garden. He fashioned Adam out of the ground and breathed a soul into him. Adam was now the first from Heaven to be tested. Adam was told by God to dress and keep the garden. How can you go forth to subdue the earth and not leave the garden? you can’t.
Then God fashioned the animals that were on the earth before Adam for him to name them. On the 8th day in the garden, God created the animals second and Adam first. On the 6th day God created the animals first and the people second.
Chapter 3:20-24, And Adam called his wife’s name Eve; because she was the mother of all living. 21 Unto Adam also and to his wife did the Lord God make coats of skins, and clothed them.
22 And the Lord God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever: 23 Therefore the Lord God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from where he was taken. 24 So he drove out the man; and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubims, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.
In Chapter 3:20, Adam names his wife Eve; because she is the mother of all living. After they ate from the Tree of Knowledge; Adam understood the test. Eve and he were the first chosen from Heaven to take the test. All living refers to the angels from Heaven that will be tested. When God sent Adam out of the garden of Eden; God never commands Adam to go forth and subdue the Earth.
John 3:13, And no man has ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of Man which is in heaven.
Revelations 5:9-10 [angels speaking], And they sung a new song, saying, Thou are worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for Thou was slain, and has redeemed us to God by Thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10 And have made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. [redeem: to save from death]
Jeremiah 1:5, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou came forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.
Psalms Chapter 82:1-7, God stands in the congregation of the mighty; He judges among the gods. 2 How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah. 3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. 4 Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked. 5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. 6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the Most High. 7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
[Important note: verses 1 and 6 “gods” is referring to angels]Â
Chapter 4:8-17, And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and it came to pass, when they were in the field, that Cain rose up against Abel his brother, and slew him. 9 And the Lord said unto Cain, Where is Abel thy brother? And he said, I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper? 10 And He said, What has thou done? the voice of thy brother’s blood cries unto Me from the ground. 11 And now are thou cursed from the earth, which has opened her mouth to receive thy brother’s blood from thy hand; 12 When thou till the ground, it shall not hereafter yield unto thee her strength; a fugitive and a vagabond shall thou be in the earth. 13 And Cain said unto the Lord, My punishment is greater than I can bear. 14 Behold, Thou has driven me out this day from the face of the earth; and from Thy face shall I be hid; and I shall be a fugitive and a vagabond in the earth; and it shall come to pass, that everyone that finds me shall slay me. 15 And the Lord said unto him, Therefore whosoever slays Cain, vengeance shall be taken on him sevenfold. And the Lord set a mark upon Cain, lest any finding him should kill him.
16 And Cain went out from the presence of the Lord, and dwell in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden. 17 And Cain knew his wife; and she conceived, and bare Enoch: and he built a city, and called the name of the city, after the name of his son, Enoch.
In Chapter 4, Adam and Eve are out of the garden and have twins, Cain and Abel. Cain murders Abel and God punished Cain making him a fugitive and vagabond on the earth. Cain told God, the punishment was more than he can bear because everyone that he runs into will slay him. So God places His mark on Cain as a warning to everyone, that no man on the earth should kill Cain. Cain is worried because he knows about all the other people out in the world, the first ones. Now Cain left the land of Eden and went to live in the land of Nod where he took a wife and started to have children. Cain’s wife was a descendant of the first ones. Adam and Eve’s next child was a boy named Seth. Adam and Eve still didn’t have any girls yet.
[Reference Genesis 4:25] 25 And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, has appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.
Chapter 5:1-4, This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made He him; 2 Male and female created He them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.
3 And Adam lived a hundred and thirty years, and beget a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth: 4 And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he begot sons and daughters:
In Chapter 5
5:1 This Is to say: This is the record of the descendants of Adam.
5:2 This refers to Adam and Eve when they were created in the garden on the 8th day.
Understand: If you say, “No, Adam and Eve were the first man and woman on earth.” You’re saying God populated the earth through wickedness. Brothers would have had sex with sisters and sons with mothers and fathers with daughters, God Forbid. You are also saying God didn’t know how to do it right, God Forbid. Leviticus 18:6, None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the Lord.
Would you say that God created the world in wickedness to make yourself right? God Forbid. Woe unto those that say right is wrong and wrong is right. God never changes, God tells us that incest is wrong. If incest is wrong now, it was wrong at the beginning of the world. Leviticus 18:7-10, The nakedness of thy father, or the nakedness of thy mother, shall thou not uncover: she is thy mother; thou shall not uncover her nakedness. 8The nakedness of thy father’s wife shall thou not uncover: it is thy father’s nakedness. 9The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shall not uncover. 10The nakedness of thy son’s daughter, or of thy daughter’s daughter, even their nakedness thou shall not uncover: for theirs is thine own nakedness.
Chapter 6:1-4, And it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. And the Lord said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be a hundred and twenty years. There were giants in the earth in those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them, the same became mighty men which were of old, men of renown.
In Chapter 6
6:2, “the sons of God” is not referring to the angels in Heaven. It’s referring to the descendants of Adam and Eve, the chosen. When Jesus was on earth He corrected the Sadducees because they didn’t understand scripture. The Sadducees thought that when they made it to Heaven they would still be married like on earth, still having sex. Jesus corrected them, He let them know there isn’t any married or given in marriage in Heaven, no sex.
Matthew 22:23-32, The same day came to Him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked Him, 24 Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. 25 Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother: 26 Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh. 27 And last of all the woman died also. 28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her. 29 Jesus answered and said unto them, Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. 30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven. 31 But as touching the resurrection of the dead, have ye not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying, 32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.
Psalms Chapter 82:5-7, 5 They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. 6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the Most High. 7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.
In Psalms Chapter 82:5-7, People don’t know, neither will they understand; that we are God’s angels, His children.
Book of Abraham confirms this
Chapter 3:22-25, Now the Lord had shown unto me, Abraham, the intelligences that were organized before the world was; and among all these there were many of the noble and great ones; 23 And God saw these souls that they were good, and He stood in the midst of them, and He said: These I will make My rulers; for He stood among those that were spirits, and He saw that they were good; and He said unto me: Abraham, thou are one of them; thou was chosen before thou was born. 24 And there stood one among them that was like unto God, and He said unto those who were with Him: We will go down, for there is space there, and we will take of these materials, and we will make an earth whereon these may dwell; 25 And we will prove them herewith, to see if they will do all things whatsoever the Lord their God shall command them;
Psalms 25:14, The secret of the Lord is with them that fear Him; and He will show them His covenant.Â
