Our Time vs God’s Time
Reference:Â 2 Peter 3:3-4, Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, 4 And saying, Where is the promise of His coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
Reference: 2 Peter 3:8-9, But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.Â

Jesus has only been gone for 2 days 23 minutes as of 2016!
Only God knows the exact day and time when our flesh will give up the Ghost. When our spirits will go to sleep until Jesus returns to judge this world. The test seems so long in our eyes, but in God’s eyes, most of us only have about two hours of testing.
We are like a 4-year-old who has just been told to sit in a chair and don’t get up for 20 minutes. If you do as you’re told, I’ll give you eternal life in Heaven. It’s that simple! and that easy, not more than the child is capable of.
Okay, but what does the child need to sit still for 20 minutes? Faith first, He must believe he will get his reward; eternal life. Then comes obedience, He has to put aside his wants [deny himself], listen to instruction, and resist the temptation to follow the disobedient. So, obey God in all things and deny yourself. Love the Lord with all your being, love your neighbor as yourself, everything else will fall into place.
