Holy Days
These are the Holy Days every believer in Jesus should be observing. We need to be in line with what Jesus requires of us. If other Jews; decide to do the religious ceremonies in the law of Moses, along with the Holy Days listed here. It is their choice, not a requirement. The Holy Ghost is our teacher and guide.
Yearly
The Birth of Jesus: No work; this is a holy day like the Sabbath, bible read, communion – sing hymns, give gifts, and rejoice greatly. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was born. This is a Holy Day; if someone doesn’t believe in Jesus, they shouldn’t celebrate it. And they should not desecrate it with Santa Claus images. Turning it into a day of lies telling their children Santa’s coming.
The Death of Jesus: No work; this is a holy day like the Sabbath, bible read, communion – sing hymns and keep it Holy. Honor this day, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ suffered and died on the cross so we could be saved.
The Resurrection of Jesus: No work; this is a holy day like the Sabbath, Bible read, communion – sing hymns and rejoice greatly. Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was resurrected because no part of God should have remained dead. This is a Holy Day; if someone doesn’t believe in Jesus, they shouldn’t celebrate it. And they should not desecrate it with the easter bunny. Having easter eggs hunts is unacceptable; this takes from God.
The Day of Pentecost: 7th Sunday after Easter; honor this day with a feast celebrating God fulfilling His word He gave to the Jews. We celebrate the blessing of the Holy Ghost Spirit upon the Apostles and other followers of Jesus Christ as Paul did.
Acts Chapter 2:1-4, And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Acts Chapter 2:14-21, But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: 15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. 16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on My servants and on My handmaidens I will pour out in those days of My Spirit; and they shall prophesy: 19 And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke: 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: 21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
Acts 18:21, But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that comes in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God will. And he sailed from Ephesus.
Acts 20:16, For Paul had determined to sail by Ephesus, because he would not spend the time in Asia: for he hasted, if it were possible for him, to be at Jerusalem the day of Pentecost.

- Pentecost, or Hebrew[Shavuot], Meaning ‘Feast of Weeks’. Exodus 34:22, And thou shall observe the feast of weeks, of the first fruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year’s end.
- Pentecost or [Shavuot], Commemorates God giving the Law of Moses to His people. In Acts, God gave His Holy Ghost to all that believe in Jesus [His people]. Writing His law into their hearts, teaching and guiding them.
The Feast of Unleavened Bread, Passover: Jesus Christ was the ultimate sacrifice, and the shedding of His blood was the end of the blood sacrifices. Exodus Chapters 12 and 13 covers how we are to honor Passover. It’s before the law of Moses was given to the children of Israel. Afterward, in Leviticus sacrifices, were added to Passover. We don’t perform these sacrifices anymore because of the liberty we have in Jesus Christ. Bible read, Communion, sing hymns, and rejoice in God’s great works. Seven days you must eat unleavened bread; remove all leaven from your household.
You can eat many things along with your unleavened bread, including wine suitable for Passover; check the web for Passover meals. Day one and day seven no work, and you have a Holy Gathering to feast and celebrate the Passover on these two days. On the days in between the 1st and 7th day, you can work but must not eat leavened bread, take lunch to work on those days. Remember, Passover is for the believers in Jesus Christ [the Jews], so don’t share your Passover meal with co-workers. [Reference Exodus Chapter 12 and Chapter 13 for more details.]
Passover is important to celebrate: Exodus 12:18, In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, ye shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even. [The first month is “Nisan” Hebrew Calendar, this month falls in between March and April]
[1] The blood of the lamb; was put on the Hebrew’s door, foreshadowed Jesus Christ saving us through the shedding of His blood. This is one more way we honor Jesus.
[2] God showed the whole world His great power, that He is willing and able to fight for His children. God showed the world He isn’t a man-made god with eyes that can’t see, and ears that can’t hear, and mouths that can’t speak. Our God is Alive! He sees, hears, speaks, and is all-powerful. This must be recognized just as the 7th day is recognized and honored.
[3] Everything God says to do is a commandment [Law]. Paul explained that Jesus freed us from the law of Moses with the gift of the Holy Ghost [God now writes His law on our hearts when we receive the Holy Ghost]. The law of Moses is the knowledge of good and evil, people that don’t have the Holy Ghost can read. Jesus didn’t come to change the law or destroy the prophets, in fact, He quoted the law often. Passover is like the Sabbath day; it is a commandment before the law of Moses.
[4] The circumcision requirement before Jesus had to be one of the flesh. Circumcision symbolizes the rejecting of the flesh and following after God. This is why Moses told the Hebrews to circumcise their heart. Paul made it clear that the circumcision that pleases God is the heart, and yet Paul still performed circumcisions. If you aren’t circumcised, let the Holy Ghost be your guide and do as your Heavenly Father leads you to do. [I would recommend getting circumcised, God will know why you are doing it and will bless you for it.]
It was always God’s intent that everyone honors the Passover, everyone was saved by the blood of the Lamb[Jesus]. Exodus 12:48-49, And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the Passover to the Lord, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof. 49 One law shall be to him that is home-born, and unto the stranger that sojourns among you.
Exodus 12:49, One law shall be to him that is home-born, and unto the stranger that sojourns among you.
• One law: The law and the religion [Judaism] are intertwined you can’t have one without the other. This applies today, We are under the one law and the one religion, Jesus made it clear He did not come to destroy the Law or the prophets. God did not send His holy Son and Savior, of His people the Jews; to surrender His vineyard and start something new. This is what Jesus meant when He said He didn’t come to destroy the Law… but He came to fulfill it! preserve it! He gave Judaism His vineyard to the Gentiles through the gift of the Holy Ghost [One priest for all to follow, Jesus the highest priest of all]. In this, He ensured a successful harvest.
Gentiles that believe in Jesus are no more called Gentiles but a new name “Jews”. Jesus made us children of the Most High the same as the obedient children of Israel are children of the Most High. Anyone that does not believe in Jesus is still a Gentile. Our reward is the same, refer to the “Call the laborers” webpage.
Weekly
The 7th Day, Sabbath:[Important] First Responder type of jobs are okay to work on the Sabbath because they help people in need. As far as buying and selling on the Sabbath day, read Nehemiah chapter 13. In all thy getting, get an understanding, plan, and be ready to honor your Sabbath days; in a way that is pleasing before God. Being hot for God gets you to heaven; lukewarm and cold for Him won’t.
Bible read, Communion – sing hymns, rest, no labor for money, labor to help someone in need is good, minimal house labor Wholesome recreational activities good – the whole day must be kept Holy. [This is required of everyone in your household].
• The Sabbath day begins at sunrise and ends at sunset. [Sunset Calendar]
• If you live in a country that begins the week on Monday. Then your 7th day will be on Sunday.
• If you live in a country that begins the week on Sunday. Then your 7th day will be on Saturday.
Communion: Jesus told us to perform this ceremony every time His people get together to worship Him. This is to remember Jesus shedding His blood, suffering, and laying down His life for the remission of our sins. [Unleavened bread; His body/flesh, Red Passover wine; His blood]. The communion ceremony starts at Matthew 26:26, and they ended the ceremony with a song. This is why the communion needs to end with singing.
Important: The communion is spiritual, and while you are eating the bread and drinking the wine, you need to be thinking about Jesus laying down His life for your salvation. Do not eat the bread because you’re hungry or think of the drinking of wine as an opportunity to drink. Paul warns us that people have gotten sick and even died as a result of this.
1 Corinthians 11:24-34, And when He had given thanks, He broke it, and said, Take, eat: this is My body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of Me. 25 After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, This cup is the new testament in My blood: this do ye, as often as ye drink it, in remembrance of Me. 26 For as often as ye eat this bread, and drink this cup, ye do show the Lord’s death till He come. 27 Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29 For he that eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord’s body. 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep. 31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. 32 But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world. 33 Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat, tarry one for another. 34 And if any man hunger, let him eat at home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the rest will I set in order when I come.
John 6:53-54, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except you eat the flesh of the Son of Man, and drink His blood, you have no life in you. 54 Whoso eats My flesh, and drinks My blood, has eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
Matthew 26:26-28, And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and broke it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is My body. 27 And He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; 28 For this is My blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
