Revelations guide

Revelations 1:3, Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

In Revelations 1:6, John is letting us know that through the Holy Ghost, we are as priests before God. Because of the Holy Ghost inside us, we are allowed to get close to God and be taught by God Himself. Jesus Christ is the Highest Priest of all, Our God is one God. Jesus is the Holy Ghost and the Holy Ghost is Jesus, Jesus is God and God is Jesus. The only one capable of being the mediator between God and man was God Himself and God in the form of Jesus is that Mediator. God loves us beyond measure, He made a part of Himself the Lamb.

In Revelations 5:9–10, John is seeing the angels in Heaven [us] praising God for the Holy Ghost making them as priests unto God and allowing them to be taught by God Himself when their test comes. The angels in Heaven [us] that John is seeing are very excited because of the Lamb, they know their test is coming.

Read it yourself
Revelations 1:5-8,
[John speaking],
5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the Prince of the kings of the earth. Unto Him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own blood, 6 And has made us kings and priests unto God and His Father; to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

7 Behold, He comes with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen.

8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

Revelations 5:9-10, [angels speaking], 9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou are worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou was slain, and has redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; 10 And has made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth. [Redeem means to save from death. The angels know their test is coming.]

Revelations 5:11-14, [angels only worship God], 11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands; 12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessing. 13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honor, and glory, and power, be unto Him that sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb forever and ever. 14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshiped Him that lives forever and ever.

Ephesus
He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;

To the Angel of the church write
Revelations 2:2-7, I know thy works, and thy labor, and thy patience, and how thou can not bear them which are evil: and thou have tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and have found them liars: 3 And have borne, and have patience, and for My name’s sake have labored, and have not fainted. 4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou have left thy first love. 5 Remember therefore from where thou are fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. 6 But this thou have, that thou hate the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate. 7 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

In the beginning, Ephesus is good with charitable acts, they don’t tolerate evil around them, they speak out against it. They test the spirit to see if it is of God and this has kept them and those around them from going down the wrong path. As a result, they have bared their cross somewhat for the Lord. [They started off strong]

Afterward, Ephesus made this mistake: They left their First Love, God. Their good works in the name of the Lord became about them, making the works about earning salvation and forgetting salvation is the gift of God. Salvation must be given, Lest any man stands before God and boast of himself. What we all need to be watchful of, is that day when we look at all the good works we’ve done and say to ourselves, “I have done good and secured a spot in heaven for me.”

Remember and never forget this; no amount of good deeds will ever secure a spot in heaven for you. Salvation can’t be bought or sold. Salvation is the gift God gives to those that give their heart to the Lord and obey Him. And nobody will make it to heaven without acknowledging and reverencing Jesus Christ. God made Himself a flesh body every bit as vulnerable as ours and suffered and laid down His life for us.

To keep our good deeds about God and not us we must do our good deeds in secret, as privately as possible. So our reward comes from our Father in heaven, that sees in secret. You can do good works without faith, but it’s meaningless before God because you allowed your good works to be about you. Faith and obedience go together, having one without the other leads to death. This beckons the question; how can someone obey and not have faith in God? …. Simple, they obey for fear of men, not for the sake of God.

You can have knowledge without faith, but the knowledge is of men, for you sought men, to learn of God, instead of God. [If a man is filled with the Holy Ghost you are being taught by God, so test the spirit to see if it is of God.] If the bible college or church you attend tells you the Holy Ghost doesn’t speak to you directly or indirectly, but through the understanding of the scripture only; RUN AWAY, it’s men’s lies God hasn’t spoken to them. The blind leading the blind, it will sound right… but it’s wrong. The word of God is truly a mystery that won’t be revealed through grammar or some new translation. The word of God is only revealed by the Holy Ghost inside the believers of Jesus Christ, God.

Now, what do you do if you realize you have fallen into the same situation as the church of Ephesus?… Do your first works; remember what first brought you to the Lord. Everyone’s first work is faith, being lead by the Lord, then comes obedience. Our walk is by faith not by sight.

What we need to keep in mind while reading the letters to the churches is that God’s talking to us. The good that the churches are doing we need to do, and the bad that the churches are doing we need to stop doing, avoid doing and warn other people not to do them. whatever your situation may be. These letters are critical to your understanding; to keep you on track with the Lord. Jesus is giving us a road map on how to stay “Hot“ for Him.

Smyrna
He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;

To the Angel of the church write
Revelations 2:9-11, I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou are rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. 10 Fear none of those things which thou shall suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. 11 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcomes shall not be hurt of the second death.

In verse 9, Jesus refers to the Hebrews that deny Him as blasphemers, It’s blasphemy to call yourself a Jew and deny Jesus your Savior, the Head of the church. Jesus also points out that they are the synagogue of Satan. Jesus is revealing to us; if we aren’t worshiping Him we are worshiping Satan.

Simply because Jesus Christ is the Head of the church, Judaism. Judaism is the one and only way to worship God, it’s the same religion in heaven. The 1st testament or the old testament was the correct way to follow God before the Savior Jesus Christ came and brought the 2nd testament or new testament. When the Savior came it put an end to blood sacrifices, God Himself became the ultimate sacrifice.

In the first testament, it was required to stop working every 7th day to acknowledge God’s great accomplishment, creation.
In the first testament, it was required to stop and celebrate Passover, why? … This was another great moment in time, God showed the world He is not a God made by man’s hands, But, God is alive and all-powerful; willing and able to fight for His children.

Through the 1st testament God required blood sacrifices, the sacrifices of the lamb among other things were foreshadowing the coming of the Savior Jesus Christ.
Every testament between man and God requires blood. The 1st testament required animal blood the 2nd testament required the blood of someone worthy to save the world from their sins, the only one worthy and able to do such a feat was and is God Himself. This is why He made Himself a flesh body and laid down His life for us, but it isn’t fitting for any part of the Almighty God to remain dead, and He rose again and is alive forevermore.

In the 2nd testament, we are required to stop and acknowledge God’s great accomplishment, through Communion. Remembering this great work of God, God allowed a part of Himself to suffer and feel pain; His love for us was and is that great. The 2nd testament fulfills the 1st testament, God’s plan was always going to bring salvation to the world. The 2nd testament is the greater testament for God, Jesus Christ, laid down His life and by doing so He gave everyone the that accepts Him into their heart; the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Deny this, reject your Savior, reject the Head of the church… Well, then you’re no longer a part of God’s church.
If you’re no longer worshiping God, that means Satan has beguiled you and has you worshiping him unaware. Now just because you don’t realize you’re worshiping Satan; don’t think that God doesn’t know you’re worshiping Satan. God sees things for how they really are.

In the world, there are those that worship Satan knowingly and those that worship Satan unknowingly, and there are those that don’t worship anything at all [they just lust for money, power, and flesh]. Then you have the children of God, the believers in Jesus Christ, the true Jews.

In verses 10-11, Jesus tells them to be faithful unto death and they won’t be hurt by the second death. Anyone that dies for Jesus or the word of God will be resurrected in the 1st resurrection,  and reign with Jesus for 1000 years or 1 day [God’s time reference] here on Earth. Everyone that has been resurrected during the 1st resurrection has proved their love for God and passed their test, so when the second resurrection occurs they will not be a part of it.

Pergamos
He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;

To the Angel of the church write
Revelations 2:13-17, I know thy works, and where thou dwell, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holds fast My name, and have not denied My faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was My faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwell. 14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou has there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumbling-block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication. 15 So has thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate. 16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of My mouth. 17 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knows saving he that receive it.

Jesus doesn’t like the church of Pergamos being friends with those that aren’t following His religion. God never changes, He didn’t want the children of Israel being friends with, and sitting down to eat with the gentles during the times of the 1st testament. God made us, He knows that the people we are friends with will have an influence on us; some good, and some bad.
Reference: 1 Corinthians 5:9-11, I wrote unto you in an epistle not to company with fornicators: 10 Yet not altogether with the fornicators of this world, or with the covetous, or extortioners, or with idolaters; for then must ye needs go out of the world. 11 But now I have written unto you not to keep company, if any man that is called a brother be a fornicator, or covetous, or an idolater, or a railer, or a drunkard, or an extortioner; with such a one, no, not to eat.
Reference: 2 Corinthians 6:14-18, Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what concord has Christ with Belial? or what part has he that believes with an infidel? 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Example: If someone wants to stop using drugs, what’s the first step they should take after asking God to help them with their addiction?… Stop hanging out with your friends that are drug users.

God doesn’t, and never did, allow His people to hang out with for the purpose of social interaction; reprobates [people who worship: idols, angels, people, animals above or beneath the earth, Satan], homosexuals, transsexuals, bisexual. Leviticus 18:22-23, Thou shall not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. 23 Neither shall thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion. In other words, anything that goes against His teaching. This is an example of what Jesus meant when He said; He didn’t come to bring peace on earth but a sword. Because when you follow Him you will have to choose Him over your loved ones and friends; or your not worthy of Him.

Many people coming to the Lord later in life have already made friends, and strong bonds, with people not following after God. The sword God is speaking of is the division between families and friends. Some will choose Him and some won’t… This is why we are divided by way of the flesh but united by way of the spirit. God’s people should be in one accord because we worship Him the same way. Choosing God over the flesh is all a part of bearing your cross and following Him.

So, If someone wants to stop the bad behavior and follow God, help them! But if they don’t want to change and follow God, then stop interacting with them… it’s that simple.

Thyatira
He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;

To the Angel of the church write
Revelations 2:19-29, I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. 20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou suffer that woman Jezebel, which calls herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce My servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. 21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. 23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am He which searches the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. 24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. 25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come. 26 And he that overcomes, and keeps My works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of My Father. 28 And I will give him the morning star. 29 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Revelations 2:19-22,
[guide]
In Revelations 2:19, the first work; “Charity” is referring to God’s definition of charity, not man’s. The last work; “thy works” is their good deeds, which is a part of Charity.
In Revelations 2:20, They are not standing up for the Lord in all things. Not testing the spirit to see if it be of God. They end up committing fornication by eating things sacrificed to idols.
In Revelations 2:22, Adultery is the sin of betrayal, this is how anyone can be an adulterer whether you’re male or female, single or married.

Consider the bond we have with God through the Holy Ghost it is a life bond like marriage: In a marriage between a man and woman; sexual betrayal is not the only way to betray your life partner. I tell you this, many marriages today are filled with adulterers and adulteress and not because of sexual betrayal.

Okay, when it comes to God, if you follow after idols, or turn away from Him, or break a vow to Him; you have betrayed God and committed adultery before His eyes [God considers eating things sacrificed to idols, committing fornication.]. If you haven’t received the Holy Ghost, never knew God, then you haven’t committed adultery. For the dead don’t betray anyone, man or God. God’s law is for the living and marriage is a part of that law.

But, what about the people that don’t believe in God and betray your trust?… If the dying and wounded animal claws at you before death, Did the animal betray you? or just do what a wounded animal does…  If a dead carcass starts to smell up the place, Did the carcass betray you? or isn’t that just what rotting flesh does. When your trust is in God; rotting flesh can never betray you, because you never trusted in the rotting flesh. I believe in Jesus Christ and all my hope and trust is safe there, He will never leave me or forsake me. I don’t put my trust in the dead and the dead will never betray me, the dead can lie to me, lash out at me and hate me, but can’t betray me.

1st Corinthians 7:12-16, But to the rest speak I, not the Lord: If any brother has a wife that believes not, and she be pleased to dwell with him, let him not put her away. 13 And the woman which has a husband that believes not, and if he be pleased to dwell with her, let her not leave him. 14 For the unbelieving husband is sanctified by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is sanctified by the husband: else were your children unclean; but now are they holy. 15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God has called us to peace. 16 For what know thou, O wife, whether thou shall save thy husband? or how know thou, O man, whether thou shall save thy wife?

In 1st Corinthians 7:12-16, “the rest” is referring to a man or a woman that believes in God and is married to an atheist. Not about someone that believes in Jesus but doesn’t obey Him… If the atheist decides to leave there is no fault. Paul is also referring to people that came to Christ but their spouse did not, remaining an atheist. Paul is not saying it is okay for a believer to go out and look for atheist to marry… A single believer should look for a believer that desires to be obedient to the will of God. God’s will not ours, that is our walk…

Example: A Catholic must be willing to turn away from Catholicism and follow God, to be considered for marriage. Otherwise, the love you have for them is greater than the love you have for God, becoming a snare to your soul.

In Revelations 2:23, Betraying God is punishable by death, don’t do that. If you have,.. repent right now and ask God to forgive you, this is the space God is giving you to repent of your betrayal and move forward with Him once again. Reference, Revelations 2:21, And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

Remember, whatever you did unto the least of God’s children you did unto God. If you have betrayed a brother or sister in Christ you have surely betrayed God Himself, repent now.

God’s definitions
Adultery: betrayal between God’s people and God, this applies to the believers in Jesus Christ.
Fornication: treacherous acts similar to adultery; without betraying the trust of God’s people [the behavior was expected], without the commitment, bond, or covenant between God’s people or God. This applies to everyone.

Important, Adultery can turn into fornication because a believer in Christ can betray you, over and over in the same way. The pattern of betrayal becomes predictable and is no longer adultery but fornication [the behavior became expected], without repentance they can be lost to their sin again. God will spew them out of His mouth. Once God spews them out of His mouth; that same behavior will start out as fornication. Fornication isn’t a lesser sin, as some people imagine; the people that never knew Jesus and grew up worshiping idols, are fornicators [reference: Pergamos church verse 14]. God hates fornicators and has outlined a punishment for them during the end of days; Revelations 9:13-21.

Revelations 9:13-21, And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, 14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates. 15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, for to slay the third part of men. 16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them. 17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone. 18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths. 19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt. 20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk: 21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.

Sardis
He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;

To the Angel of the church write
Revelations 3:2-6, Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. 3 Remember therefore how thou have received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shall not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shall not know what hour I will come upon thee. 4 Thou has a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white: for they are worthy. 5 He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before My Father, and before His angels. 6 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

When temptation comes and you start to fall by the wayside, stop and remember the things you did and held fast too; when you first came to the Lord. At first, everyone is zealous for the Lord and tries their best to be as obedient as they know how to be. After the course of time, some of us get lax in our devotion to the Lord. Be warned and stay zealous for the Lord always.

Philadelphia
He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;

To the Angel of the church write
Revelations 3:8-13, I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou have a little strength, and have kept My word, and have not denied My name. 9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. 10 Because thou has kept the word of My patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou has, that no man take thy crown. 12 Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of My God, and the name of the city of My God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God: and I will write upon him My new name. 13 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

We all start out with a little faith. When we suffer and are tried, tested, and don’t faint, we use that little faith to cling on to every word of God and make Him our refuge to run into. God loves that and will bless you with more faith and more learning; your bond with the All-Mighty Creator Himself will get stronger.

The “open door” is this: If you take one step toward God, He will take two steps toward you. Keeping this in mind, how close you get to God is up to you. Praise God…

    • Be that little child that hasn’t known their Father, but would do anything to find Him and sit down with Him and talk with Him.
    • Be that child that calls out for their Father when they are scared of the dark
    • Be that child that wants their Father to be proud of them.
    • Become that little child that obeys their Father because it makes Him happy, and that has become your joy.

In Revelations 3:9, is a warning to the Hebrews that denies Jesus Christ; it will come to pass in this generation.

Laodiceans
He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;

To the Angel of the church write
Revelations 3:15-22, I know thy works, that thou are neither cold nor hot: I would thou were cold or hot. 16 So then because thou are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of My mouth. 17 Because thou say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knows not that thou are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel thee to buy of Me gold tried in the fire, that thou may be rich; and white raiment, that thou may be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye-salve, that thou may see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come into him, and will sup with him, and he with Me. 21 To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with Me in My throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with My Father in His throne. 22 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Revelations 3:15-16, [guide]
If you want to follow God just to keep yourself out of the lake of fire, then your motivation is selfish and you will only do what you think is enough to get you into Heaven. This is the Lukewarm state that is spoken of in Revelations. He will spit you out of His mouth.

If you want to follow God because you love Him more than yourself. You want to get to Heaven to worship God, feel His love, rejoice in His goodness, and be complete once again. This is the Hot state that is spoken of in Revelations. He will welcome you.

If you deny what God did for you or His very existence. This is the Cold state that is spoken of in Revelations. He has prepared the lake of fire for you. Lukewarm and Cold end up in the same place.

What God is telling us is simple: Do it right or Don’t do it at all.

Matthew 10:34-39, Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. 35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. 36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. 37 He that loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me: and he that loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. 38 And he that takes not his cross, and follows after Me, is not worthy of Me. 39 He that finds his life shall lose it: and he that loses his life for My sake shall find it.

Revelations 3:17-20, [guide]
17 Referencing people who believe in God and comfort themselves with nice things, and have obtained riches or came out from a life of poverty. They tell themselves, “If God wasn’t blessing me, I wouldn’t have this nice house, I wouldn’t have this new car, I wouldn’t have servants.” Their forgetting God’s mercy and grace, God allows the sun to shine on the just and unjust. Treasures on earth never equal righteousness.
18 Desire God rather than things on earth.
19 God chastens those he loves, so if you’re getting corrected by God, be glad. God’s giving you another chance to get it right and be with Him. Realize the opportunity the Lord is giving you, and give your all to the Lord. [Reference Matthew 22:37]

20 Refer to Example [A] its for people like the Laodiceans:
[A]: You have a mother who you love and loves you, but she is very sensitive to cigarette smoke. You come home from work and light up your cigarette and the smoke soon fills the house not realizing she’s downstairs taking in the smoke. Now she walks up the stairway coughing and she sees you smoking and gets offended because you see her and don’t put the cigarette down; you had a rough day at work and this cigarette is taking the edge off.

So she goes outside to get some air, the smoke is so disagreeable with her she can’t be inside your house anymore. Looking out your window you see her and start to feel bad, after all, she has only done well by you.

Then you put the cigarette out and open all the windows in the house. You go to her and ask her to forgive you as you explain what a bad day you just had, because she loves you dearly she forgives you and re-enters your house and visits with you.

Example [B] is for people who have just accepted Jesus into their heart:
[B]: You have just accepted Jesus in your heart and opened the door to your temple to invite the Spirit of God in, but you are standing in His way so He only puts one foot in your temple.
After you’re baptized in obedience to His word, this allows you to start moving out of God’s way and His Spirit starts to fill your temple.

This is why two people can have the Holy Ghost in them but One has a much greater understanding of the Holy Script and is utilizing his spiritual gifts better than the other.

Matthew 22:35-40,
[Hot], 35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked Him a question, tempting Him, and saying, 36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

In verse 40, On these two commandments hang all the law; if you put all your focus and dedication toward God and loving your neighbor as yourself, you will be in a state of obedience to God and the Holy Ghost will be your teacher and guide. You will learn that your love for God changes your desires and inspires you to do more for Him, the more you learn the more you do. The Holy Ghost will guide you to the correct way to follow Him, now that He has laid down His life for us [One example of this is no more blood sacrifices.].

[Mark and Luke were not among the 12 disciples of Jesus Christ. They did not witness the gospel first hand. If an account from Mark or Luke differs from the teachings of Matthew or John we must go with the first hand accounts of Matthew or John to find the true gospel.]

Luke 23:39-43,  And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on Him, saying, If thou be Christ, save Thyself and us. 40 But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Do not thou fear God, seeing thou are in the same condemnation? 41 And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this Man has done nothing amiss. 42 And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when Thou come into Thy kingdom. 43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shall thou be with Me in paradise.

The thief on the cross demonstrated his love for God by standing up for Him. Then he demonstrates his faith in God when he says, “Lord, remember me when Thou come into Thy kingdom.” This is why he was saved, no one can enter into the kingdom of heaven without loving God. Revelations 3:15-17, 15 I know thy works, that thou are neither cold nor hot: I would thou were cold or hot. 16 So then because thou are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew thee out of My mouth. 17 Because thou say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and know not that thou are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

Another way to express these meanings;
Cold: No love for God
Lukewarm: Torn between loving God and the things in this world
Hot: Loving God with all your heart, mind, and soul

What we need to keep in mind while reading the letters to the churches is that God’s talking to us. The good that the churches are doing we need to do, and the bad that the churches are doing we need to stop doing, avoid doing and warn other people not to do them. whatever your situation may be. These letters are critical to your understanding; to keep you on track with the Lord. Jesus is giving us a road map on how to stay “Hot” for Him.

Red Letter Online Bible

King James Version Bible. It was authorized by King James I. It was translated by the Church of England and was first published in 1611.

God’s words are in red letters, old and new testament, as it should be. It is in paragraph form for easy reading. With all verses numbers labeled in blue for quick reference.

The Apocrypha was in the original King James version of the Bible. It should never have been removed. At the time Jesus was on earth the old testament and the Apocrypha scriptures were studied.

All scripture is Jewish scripture, Judaism is a religion not an ethnicity. Jesus is the Savior of the Jews. He is the Head of the Church.
